Wideframe Mule Drive Question
Does anyone have a picture of the proper pulley and hardware configuration for the mule drive on wideframes? I know my 1650 is incorrect, but I am not sure as I looked at my 1450 that it is correct either? On What side of the hangers to the pulleys mount, etc? Thanks!

Chad,
:Welcome2: Sorry, but I've converted mine over for snow duty and haven't had a chance to convert back yet. Glad to have you in the forum.... Cub Cadet 123 |

Take a look at this Deck manual that shows the mule drive. One thing I learned on my 1250 is, that if you have a 44a or 50a deck the arms holding the pulleys need to be rotated in the right direction of the offset center pulley so that the belt is not under strain and gets worn prematurely. I had to bend mine manually as someone had the wrong mule drive with the deck. If you have a 42 inch deck or 48 inch deck then the arms and pulleys will be straight because the center pulley on the deck will be centered and not off set. Hope this helps.
