Congrats Tim, that was a killer job on Paps tractor. Maybe I'll get to see it in person at a PA plow day someday.

I finally had some time to get the reflectors cleaned up and painted and installed on the 100.

Nice, I like the way you did not paint the bolts. I think the hardware looks much better than mine that is painted.....

Hey Tim, I am going to be painting my 73 in the near future and the last cub I painted was about 10 years ago.

Will 2 quarts of acrylic enamel be enough for the yellow? I have a gal. of white thats close and will tint it a little.

I just can't remember how much I used the last time. Thanks.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
