Default New Mower Recommendation

I have ½ acre property. I am looking at options for new Cub Cadet riding mower. Option 1 is XT1 LT42 Intellipower It has a cub cadet powermore engine and AGM tiny battery. Part # is 13A6A9TSA10.
Option 2 is XT1 LT42B with 19HP Briggs & Stratton engine-also with AGM battery. Part # is 13ALA9TSA10.

Does anyone own one of these models and what has your experience been?
Thanks!

Many here would tell you to stay away from the Intellipower unit. I have a XT1 LT46 without it.

You will find that the majority of us here have the older tractors. Much easier to work on and get parts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
