I do the same thing. I'll work on someone's house and I jump right in. Working on mine I sweat over everything. Maybe it's because it's someone else's money. Don't know.

Looks great Tim. That right there is the money shot. Gotta love all the "practice" you get in your day job, and the booth when it comes to painting your own stuff.

I was able to get My Grandpas 100 . its a 65, Grandpa wouldn't buy is unless they painted it red because that's what color Internationals should be. they painted it red. left the hood white. when He retired from farming My Uncle purchased it. He painted it yellow over the top of the red because Cub Cadets were supposed to be yellow and he could never figure out why the heck grandpa had it painted red. now I have it. I can't figure out what color to paint it now. its yellow with red showing through where the scratch's are , I like the story so as of yet haven't done anything to it .

Just my 2 cents but I'd paint it red in honor of your Grand Father. Cool that you have one with family history.

The whites done and I couldn't be happier with how everything came out. The part that impressed me the most was the seat, it came out looking great, it might shatter like an old China plate the first time I put my 235lbs on it but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. That's all I can do for now so I guess I can spend the rest of the day chasing kids around at an egg hunt, Happy Easter everybody.

I would paint one half red and one half yellow right down the middle of the tractor or you could find a good airbrush painter and he could make it look like the yellow paint is peeling off with red underneath.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
