Some pics of tonight's progress. Like an idiot I forgot to put the driveshaft on the rear end before i put it in, luckily I got it in without to much trouble or use of the universal word.

Looks great Tim! Your quick progress has given me the kick in butt I needed to start painting my 100 tonight.

Here's some better pics of the hood and seat, I'm really pleased with how they both came out considering the condition of each when I started.

Doing a fantastic job on reassembly, don't forget to remove some paint in the areas that proper grounding needs to be.
Is the white the 901 with the green tint?

That white was custom mixed by me, the ppg code listed on this site is only good for the lower end paints and doesn't work for the paint we mix here so I kinda eyeballed it. I'm sure it's not correct but it looks good to me.

I see.
You should remove the steering column so you can get those big hands inside the dash tower to put the wire harness, choke, ignition and starter button in, just letting you know.

Throttle and choke went in before the dash went on, this tractor doesn't have a push button so wiring it with the column in shouldn't be to bad.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
