You are correct that I didn't notice a "night and day" difference, but it helps.

You guys have to worry about freezing down there!? In March!?

P.s. thank you for fixing the spelling mistake in my quote

I live NW of Austin and don't have the concrete and asphalt to hold the temp like "in town". I actually planted a couple of weeks ago, and in central Texas, there is always a chance of a "freak" freeze in March. I put out tomato cucumber and pepper plants last week and I am still keeping an eye out for a frost. Temp was 38 degrees when I left the house this AM.

As for any editing, I didn't do anything. You must spell better than you think!

You're talking about planting a garden and it just snowed in south central Illinois last night. Gonna have to warm, and dry up, a lot before I plant anything. Doesn't look like it will be warm enough to plant here for a few weeks, but the "big" farmers are getting the equipment out....

With our soil temps between 35 and 40, we are a ways off from doing any planting!

Unless your planting igloo coolers, id be leery

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
