Interchangeable accessories between 147 and 149
I've had a 147 with electric lift with mower deck, tiller, snow blower, and blade. I picked up a 149 with hydraulic lift, no accessories. Needs some work, wiring, cleaning. Will any of the accessories from the 147 fit the 149. Sorry I havent tried yet.im planning this project. Before I get things tore apart. I have 1650 hydraulic lift with 50" deck. That hydraulic lift seems to work better than the electric lift. That's why the 147>149. Thank you.

You probably need to work around the narrow frame 147 and the wide frame 149.

Not without modifications. The tiller may work, but I don’t know enough about them. I would think you would at least need a different mule drive and belts. The blade itself would work, but you will need a wide frame subframe for it. Attachments would interchange between your 149 and 1650.

Thank you for responses. I have accumulated 'parts'over the years. I'll need to look in my stash for a wide frame sub frame I may have one. Sometimes as I age,76 I think I have too much.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
