You gave it a great effort and were very close. Take a breather and relax with your son. Enjoy the time with him. Another week on the 100 won't make a difference in the big picture.

Have fun racing, Tim. Go ahead and wait for me to catch up on my 100. What you can accomplish in a week should only take me a few months to get done. Haha

Some pics of how it currently sits. I have a fuel issue for some reason, it won't run for more than 15 seconds and it won't run at all without the choke so something is plugged somewhere, my guess is a chunk of crap that came off the threads when I switched out the elbow on the carb. So close yet so far away.

Tim,
Looks great, on the fuel issue, be sure your condenser is grounded and has clean unpainted metal under it.

My 102 had the original stainless fuel line. I ran a wire thru it just for the heck of it and glad I did, it was full of something. No doubt it wouldn't have started, much less ran. It lookin great!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
