The parking brake will not engage. I am not able to locate the parking brake parts on any of the Parts Illustrations.

Vague, question or statement?
Do you mean no brakes at all, or.....
brake will not stay engaged in "parking" position?

The actual brake is inside the transmission.
To engage it and/or lock it in park is all external linkage.

Default Parking Brake
I push down on parking brake button but when I release the brake petal the button will not stay engaged.

I'd start by locating this rod under your dash and see if became disconnected at either end.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
