Finally a nice day in NC! We've had rain everyday for nearly a month. I had to get the 1512 out of hibernation...lol! It fired right up after sitting for almost a month.

Looking good, would love to pick up one of those smokers one day but they’re fairly uncommon around where I am

LED light upgrade
3 Attachment(s)
I replaced the original headlights with LED floodlights. Now I can really see when I need to use the tractor in the dark.
Got the lights on clearance at Menard's for $23. I had previously installed the same LED lights on the cab. I cut out the back of the front panel, where the headlights had been so the lights insert into the cutouts, behind the factory lens. Lamps are secured to the plastic with epoxy. Tractor is a 1541 with a 450 snowblower, and an Allis Chalmers vinyl cab with fiberglass roof. |
Weight box
1 Attachment(s)
Made a weight box for extra traction when blowing snow.
I have a 1541 with a 450 snowblower, and found the rear tires slip when blowing snow on icy surfaces. Box mounts to the 3 point hitch. Made from 5 salvaged aircraft seat bases, and filled with landscape pavers. |
2 Attachment(s)
Did some snow removal cleanup with my 126 and 42 inch snowthrower.
