With a conibear trap, that option does not exist.
I have learned you can catch wood chucks without bait.
just locate near a burrow/den, they are curious and walk right in.
Try it, you will be surprised.
I just hate it when I catch a skunk, it is never an odorless situation.

Funny you mention the pole cat. A few years ago, I had it set with no bait. My trusty sidekick decided to corner one right into the trap. I quickly learned how to remove it without much stink. Other than what the dog caught. Walk to the trap with a tarp in front of you and cover it. Then you can can carry it out to an open spot and take care of business with out much stink. :beerchug:

I changed out the steering rod ends on the 1863 this morning. There's still a little play coming from the steering box but I'm not going to take that apart during mowing season. I greased the CV joint in the drive shaft, I forgot about it when I greased everything else.

I shot a skunk in my driveway that was living under our shed, and I didn't want that. My driveway stunk like skunk piss for the entire summer. :biggrin2:

First mowing of the season. The wife sure likes the power steering and smoother ride.

Supers are great for mowing. My 1872, and JD 400 of the same size, are the smoothest riding of all my machines.

Put the 1512 to work yesterday. :biggrin2:

I did a little rolling with the 1650 today. A friend of mine brought over his mini excavator to dig out 3 large stumps for me. I thought I'd roll it some before I spread topsoil.
