I started trying to figure out how to mount the power steering pump I'm going to use for hydraulics on my 100. It will be mounted on the right side behind the starter/gen. The problem I ran into is that the engine rotates the opposite direction of the pump so to make it work the pump needs to be mounted with the pulley towards the rear of the tractor. But then the back of the pump hits the S/G before the pulleys line up. The solution I came up with is to run a short jackshaft with pulleys on both ends of it. I'll have 1 belt running from the engine pulley at the back of the engine to a pulley on the jackshaft. The other end of the jackshaft will have a belt running from it to the pump. The trick will be making it so both belts can be tightened. It's a good thing I work in a machine shop so I can make all the necessary parts. I'll start a seperate thread once I start making some parts and get some pics. Wish me luck.
