Very nice work, ok it's a go since I really like the 70/100 as much as the Originals. Did yours have an engine? If not what did you do? I know this guy has a graveyard of tractors and hopefully he's got another cub or 2:biggrin2.gif:..

I had an engine from another 100 that I parted because basically everything but the rear and engine were shot. The engine had water in it, which froze and broke the pan and cracked the oil dipper on the rod. I rebuilt it and it was fine.

PTO Button

This may not be so much a "What did I do with" as it is a "What did I do FOR" my Cub...

This evening I turned out a new PTO center button for a Pto that has one worn down to nothing. Probably hard to tell from the pic but, I don't think it came out too bad for a first effort.

Got some seat time in today. Our Sycamore tree has started shedding it's bark for the year. Here's some pics. :beerchug:

How does that sweeper work? Do you like it? I thought about buying one.

ACecil 06-19-2010 05:31 PM

Pat,

The sweeper works great, it even picks up pine straw. Never had any problems with it. It's the Craftsman 42" hi speed.

Well, Today I mowed with the TG1860 (Kubota, sorry :'( ) Then fired up the ol' gall, and started spraying, Went threw 3 tanks (15 Gal.) She ran like a charm. filled up the 4th, then went back to spray, and danget, nothing, I had been having trouble with the pump all day, not giving enough pressure at first, then WAY to much pressure, then, nadda zipp zilch. Then again, she was probably 10 years old. She had a good life.

So, needlest to say, I'm going get another pump next week, But the Cub's running like a champ.

I'd post some pics, but can't find the camera, I think i left it at the camp.....

Gonna hear from mom on that one. :beatdeadhorse:

Thanks
Cody

I have a bagger for my Snapper but I don't have one for my Cub. I was thinking about getting a sweeper to pull behind the cub.

If you get a sweeper, you won't regret it.

I did find out today that the Cub will fit through the gate into my back yard. I have my whole yard fenced in, and I have been going in and out through the 10' gate because it wouldn't fit through the 4' gate. But the gate into the area right behind the house has a 5' gate, I though it was a 4' gate like the other one.

Heck since the Snapper in down I've cutting it with the Push mower!!

I will have to look into a sweeper.
