Yesterday I finished repainting my snow blade and today I got a power steering pump from my father-in-law for my hydraulic system I'm wanting to build for my cub. I'll get some pics of the blade when I get it put back together.

Looking forward to your pics, IHinIN! :beerchug:

Nice Diz
That sure is a fine lookin tractor :) |
I began by putting my freshly painted rims and New AG on the back of my 1200...
http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2887Medium.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2888Medium.jpg Then installed the headlight panel which I recently bought http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2889Medium.jpg Then brought two more Cubs in the new garage for winter storage..A 108 and an 800 http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2890Medium.jpg Tomorrow, I am hoping to remove the mower from my 1200 and get it ready for a new spindle bearing as well as maybe tear it apart and taking it to my powdercoater and painting it to match the wheels in the IH white paint. |
Hey Diz, I like those wheel weights. Good looking, working 149. I'll bet you can hardly wait to try it in the snow for the first time! :biggrin2.gif:
bignastyGS....isn't it amazing how much newly painted wheels make a difference? Looking good! |
The bad thing is it brings out all the other bad areas that I will now address to make it look like a keeper..Like the seat back, and cushion, the deck paint, the front end cleaned....Man, I think I have enough to do now...:biggrin2.gif:
|
Nice tractors, guys! :beerchug:
|
:Thanks: 67hydro, CBH, ACecil. I am ready to try out those wide ags in the snow :biggrin2.gif:
bignastyGS, The 1200 looks good with new ags and fresh painted rims  |
I've swept for the last time this year. Our Sycamore tree is finally empty. Here's some pics.

Thanks Jason! You are right about that. I had a great time! I'll pull the cart, when I get a chance. Then the aerator and broadcast spreader. You know me, I'll find things for the 100 to do. |

playing with chemicals
I took my front plow apart and tried the Electrolysis trick to restore and get the rust off.
Getting ready for snow! |
It was so nice outside here today, that I decided to get the 124 out and pick up a few limbs from the yard.
Though it really didn't need it, I also mowed some of the high areas, just to get some Cub time. :biggrin2.gif: http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...d/124_cart.jpg |
Looks nice CBH

Great pics, guys!

I tilled a 3' high hump that we thought was a root from the big maple.....turned out it was fill dumped there by the previous owners.
Then we dug up a Holly that the previous yoyo's planted 2' away from the house, and now is touching all the way up to the (any guesses) POWER LINES it was planted directly under and are growing around. Some people. It's like they think, "this TREE will stay this size forever, and never grow". |
Great pic, eastonct124! Cubs are so much fun to work. :beerchug:
|
Sandblasting
My son and I took the 48" mower deck off the 124, and he sandblasted it while I supervised! I'll be painting it in a day or two.

Looking forward to your prgress pics, CBH! :beerchug:

This is what I did...7 gallons of eco friendly antifreeze in each wheel.Man they are heavy as hell to put on when loaded. Why no one told me that is beyond me...lol
http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2902Medium.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2900Medium.jpg and added some non stock bright lights (in case I locate a snow blade so I can see while plowing now...) http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2903Medium.jpg I also removed the 44 inch deck and mule drive so I can clean them and put new bearings in the center and left spindles,as well as replace the main pulley, which I just found out is bent up pretty good. Anyone know where to buy the deck decals at?? |
Nice job, bignastyGS! Please get some pics of your cub with the ags on.
|
I'll get some pics of it tomorrow after work. Actually loading the tires was a simple task.I made a simple bucket hose setup and it worked like a charm. Took about an hour to do both rims, and I can't get 1 more ounce of fluid in them. I also added dish soap to help keep the antifreeze from tearing up the rim paint. I took it for a spin tonight and I can tell a huge difference already. Now, I will be making a set of wheel weight brackets and buying some 10 lb weights to add to it..
Decided to snap a couple tonight yet... http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2904Medium.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...2906Medium.jpg |
eastonct124,
Looking good out there running your Cub  CBH, Deck is going to look nice when you get it finished :beerchug: bignastyGS, Before i forget. You know when we were talking about loading tires. I guess i didnt mention to leave them on the tractor and fill them, They are a pain to reinstall once they are loaded. :ExtremeFunny: They look great!!! |
Bignasty, how much did the antfreeze cost you, and what brand did you use?

Actually I made a tool to help install them. A 3 ft 2x4 and a 1 ft piece of 4x4..That helped ...a little.:biggrin2.gif: |
If i have to pull mine anytime soon I might have to borrow that :beerchug:
Glad you got it figured out  |
Your tractor looks great, bignastyGS! :beerchug:

Hauled my wife's mums and pumpkin to the woods. It's good to get some seat time. :beerchug:
