Making me think about painting mine, I love the look of a fresh paint job. I really need to do the front wheels too. The front right one is really rusty looking. Seeing how I need new tires anyway, might as well do that while I have them broken down to install new tires. Does Goodyear still produce the original style tires that was used in the early 70's?

I was able to find the 5/8 cold rolled steel rod for upper lifting cast for my 3 point attachment lift. Had them cut me a 12 in. piece and brought it home and drilled a hole on each end for the clevis pins. Lubed it up with anti-seize and still had to use a hammer and drift to get it pushed all the way thru, but it went pretty easy with just a small amount of persuasion. My 2 1/2" wide flat stock will be available tomorrow for creating the lower mount to use the craftsman sleeve hitch adapter I have available. This will give me something to do for the next few days while it is near 100 out. Ughhh :(

Looks great Allen!

Thanks Duke & DX3!

Allen - the weights will look good on the 100, but if they can help you get another cub in the stable, they'll probably look better on it:biggrin2.gif:
I pulled out "Big Red" today to spread some mulch. Hottest day of the week, and I had just got back from mountain biking with my wife. Spent the next 2 hours putting a dent in the mulch pile and dressing the place up a bit. http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...zini/009-6.jpg http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...zini/010-6.jpg Another 2 hours and I should be done http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...zini/011-2.jpg |

i always like the looks of white letter tires on my dads pickups so i got an idea. it involved a tire crayon and my 1650 tires. the carlisle got a little messy cuz the letter edge is shorter but oh well. hopefully it will last a little while. i also put the yellow weights on. they look alot better then white i think.

Thanks toyman! They'll be going on my plow tractor, which is a 149. I hope to have it very soon. :beerchug:
Nick: I also like the yellow on the weights versus the white. |

I don't mean to sound dumb here but I have never seen this type of touch up device before. Where do you find these white crayons ?
