Doug, looks good. Did you remove the indicator in the dash with the new gp's?

4SPEED 11-25-2012 07:22 PM

no I didnt. should it be?

Oak 11-25-2012 07:36 PM

The indicator is wired in series with the original but the new can take a full 12 volts. Checkout the gp upgrade link.

Methos 11-25-2012 07:40 PM

Allen sweet video! Evan almost got a tear in his eye watching it. He said something about missing that tractor.:bigthink:

He is getting excited about the one in the yard so maybe he'll forgive you for buying his 782.:biggrin2:

Doug sweet video!

Methos 11-25-2012 07:41 PM

Got the engine installed in the 782.:beer2

Thanks Ben! I'm hoping it's going to be as nice as the one to sold to Allen last week. A month ago I didn't want a red one now I can't wait to get this one up and running.:biggrin2:

Seems to work well, just need to finish up a few things on it and add a kill switch and throttle where I can reach it from the seat. :beerchug:

you should try to find a way to hook a hydraulic cylinder up to the bar, so it lifts on its own instead of having to get off the tractor to lift the bar up

Mountain Heritage 11-26-2012 07:35 PM

Great pictures Todd  Looks like you had a blast plowing. So Jellous! :beerchug:

Thanks everyone. I saved the other garden spot to plow for another day.:biggrin2:

Plow day with Dad and the BRS

Dad wanted his garden spots plowed so I went today before it rained. The spot we are plowing is awful. It sets on a slope and has more rocks than a rock quarry. It was a struggle to get any depth and keep good rows. Maybe one of these days Ill learn to plow. Here is a picture and a video. Thats my Dad plowing.

dsmithjr 11-27-2012 12:39 AM

Oak I wish I could learn to that great of a job plowing! Your rows look good and deep

Oak 11-27-2012 06:54 AM

Thanks Don. That spot has been getting plowed and tilled for 10 years so I think that had a lot to do with it. You and DWayne need to come on over to one of the Carolina plow days.

_DX3_ 11-27-2012 08:35 AM

Good rows or not, at least you had some fun. :beerchug:

Fresh stone covered ground is hard to plow period. It gets better each year if you keep plowing it.

Methos 11-27-2012 09:43 AM

Great pics and video Don!

Don

You just need a plow with a little more power and weight. One of these should do it for you. :biggrin2:

ACecil 11-27-2012 11:33 AM

Thanks for the awesome pic and vid, Don!

dsmithjr 11-27-2012 11:06 PM

Good rows or not doing things like plowing or working on your cubs with your dad or daughter is priceless. That's what this hobby is really about.

When I painted the hood a while back I removed the Cub Cadet plastic. I broke most of the retainers and never was able to find any at the local hardware stores. I ordered some off ebay and they arrived early this week. I had painted the beige when I did the hood but had to do the blue part. It didn't turn out perfect but at least their back on. Now I need to get started on those side panels.

782 lumber hauler

Today I used the 782 to haul some lumber and tools to work on the hunting cabin. I had to go to my barn to get the lumber. I used my sawmill last year to saw up some pine logs I had brought home. I have used the pine as framing and siding on the cabin. The 782 done one heck of a job even having to go up a pretty good hill. No problem!!!!
