Nice job on the tractor! Looks pretty darn tuff. Thanks for the pictures!

Today I tore down the 126 to fix the butchered frame as well as a few other things. A PO had rewired the tractor and it was a joke. Between the bad wiring, the battery box that was barely tack welded on, and the homemade gas tank mount sheet metal screwed to the engine tin, it was a fire waiting to happen. I'm gonna take my time and fix it right. I'm surprised it even runs since the plug wire is just laying on top of the plug. It doesn't clip on like it should.

Got some awesome seat time in today! Had to haul a branch and some limbs to the woods, then I did some lawn sweeping.

If you break that rock shaft with that heavy Haban blade like I did last winter it will ruin more than just your day! When plowing snow take 2 of the 4 springs off it or the blade won't flip when you need it to. Lessons learned the hard way.

Anyway Just used my 1872 for the 1st time since last winter. Took it apart to fix the rock shaft and got carried away with a total refurbish. Just got it all back together and mowed this afternoon.

Love the front tires! It certainly is one mean look'n thing painted black and yellow. Its a sleeper too, no decals! :biggrin2.gif:

Squatch, thanks for the heads up on the brace, didn't know there was such a thing. Got a picture of yours?

I just replaced my rockshaft as it was broke when I got it. I made sure to put liberal amounts of anti-seize on it just in case I get to do it again sometime. I also put a weld on the backside of the bracket to strengthen it.

And I really like those front tires...kinda wish I had done something like that now...
