Yeah they are built heavy, from what I've read they were both cat 1 and cat 0, though at 260-310 lbs I think its probably a little heavy for a cub.

I dont know if Allen started a thread on his fuel oil mix, but this is what I found. Looks like just damage from old fuel in the pump. I cleaned a bunch of mud or rust out of the pump and had this kit, but didnt work. The check valves are differant, but I tried anyway. For now it sits in my shop to get ready to check for PS leak. Looked like a line to me.

I took it threw the mud and pouring rain, cause I know Allen wouldnt ever do it! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cubcrazy 01-14-2013 09:11 PM

Where's the pics of taking it through the mud Vince?!:bigthink:

Bought a new washer and dryer this week. Had to haul away the big boxes and some other trash. Double duty today after plowing the snow we got!

Well the cozy 149 needed new tail lights so went to fleet and bought some and while i was there i got some ideas. The 4 rectangle lights and the head lights are on the original switch and the marker lights and rear spot light ( covered up so the camera would work) are on there own switch and circuit. It looks so much better in person haha

yesmar74 01-18-2013 05:47 PM

Hey Nick, I sure like your lights. That thing can't be missed. Nice job.....

Sam Mac 01-18-2013 05:53 PM

I charged up the battery in the 1863 this morning and hooked it to an old motorcycle trailer to haul some stumps out of the yard. I've had several trees die over the past few years and this week cut all the old stumps down even with the ground. The busted wood on the front is all from one big one that I had to bust up to get cut off. I put a couple of coats of appliance almond on the side panels and installed them a few weeks ago. Haven't decided if I will get decals yet.

Great pic of the 1863 and trailer!

4SPEED 01-20-2013 01:19 PM

with all the wind, it's kickin zero out there. and this week is to be more of the same. so the cubs got moved inside for a few weeks. til it go's back into the 30's.

I know I know. I baby them too much..... I wouldnt keep a dog or a cub out in this kind of cold.

ACecil 01-20-2013 10:28 PM

I'm the same way, Doug. I always keep my cubs in the building.

Sam Mac 01-21-2013 07:46 AM

Doug

Good to see the Cubs inside. Fuel burners don't like cold weather. Nice looking fleet! :beerchug:

4SPEED 01-21-2013 08:34 AM

that O'll girl sat out side for the last 3 weeks under a canvas tarps. I really didnt think it would start. but 20sec on the plugs and she cranked for about 4 sec. the all the white smoke turned to coal. I love seeing diesels come to life.
its like Dr. Frankenstein standing over his creation (Its Alive!!!)

Donovan M. 01-21-2013 05:22 PM

hahaha, I got my new ones running strong.

Great pics, Vince! I'd sure love to ride that trail sometime.

ACecil 01-24-2013 10:18 PM

Vince_o 01-24-2013 10:41 PM

A little bit of plowing with the parts 100 for fun!

OldSchool81 01-25-2013 01:33 AM

Took off frozen choke cable. Did some sanding and paint prep on the deck. Broke
the old muffler clamp trying to tighten it. Ordered some carb odds and ends and a new choke cable along with a spark plug.
