Thanks for the great comments, guys! :beerchug:

AC looks like fun!
Raboley I don't have one yet but will before winter. Dealer said the were avail. Bthein told me about them after I broke my shaft this winter. We were discussing implements and supers. It's mainly a strap that connects the 2 different lift brackets together I believe. You could make one but for the price I'll just purchase one. |
Thanks Diz & Squatch!
Diz: We've been getting some good rain lately. There's more in the forecast today. :beerchug: |
Haven't "done" much lately, but just received a box-o-gaskets to replace the intake, exhaust and carb gaskets on the Onan along with a carb rebuild kit. She's been surging after warmup. I'm hoping to remove the shroud sheet metal this weekend and start disassembly/reassembly. I also need to remove the rear end (again) to helicoil the lower two axle tube threads on the right side. The guy that installed the 3 point must have gotten a little aggressive with the torque (me):banned:, and I can's stand the wet mark on my garage floor:bash2:. I needed to change the Hytran after it's thorough cleaning this winter anyway, so not really a big deal. It does add a little bit of work having to remove the 3 point and rear pto to change the fluid, but hopefully after this change I won't be doing it again anytime soon.
Squatch - I like what you did with the your Super, the paint and the tires are a good look, but the most important part is that it's a worker! I'm still kicking around the idea of shooting some red on the 982, I just haven't been bit by the paint bug yet. AC - Your 100 looks great! I have a 70 in 'roller' form right now while I'm deciding if I'm going to do a light to moderate rebuild on the replacement engine. I really just want it to pull a cultivator between the rows of my garden since it's a bit narrower than the 982 with the tiller. |
Thanks Toyman! I'll have a moldboard plow for the 100 soon.

Squatch, Nice to see it all back together and working for you. Really looks great!

Looks like it was digging in real good. I know what you mean, i am loving my 169 the more i use it also :biggrin2.gif: |
IHnick - nice cultivator. That's on my short list of attachments.
I had a spare 45 minutes and surprisingly got all the tins, shrouds, carb/manifold, and exhaust removed. I found a blown exhaust gasket on the right side. Hopefully I'll have my surging problem all worked out this weekend. |
