Got a good start on the electrical system for the 2264 today. Hope to have all the stuff behind the engine finished tomorrow so I can plop the engine in place. Salvaged a lot of the factory wiring and repurposed it. Weather was awesome, if I was smart I would have been out ridding the bike instead of playing with a tractor. Oh well I want to get it finished. :beerchug:

Sorry I forgot to take pics today. The CH22 is in the Cub. Most of the wiring is done. New fuel in is in place. Drive shaft is in. Tomorrow I hope to finish the fuel system, new tank bushings, reinstall the shut valves, filter. Makeup the plug to connect the wiring to the engine. Battery cables etc. Then give it the smoke test. :beerchug: |

Smoke test was successful, everything works as it should. Gotta go and pickup some tranny fluid now. :beerchug:

Tranny oil and filter changed, stuff that was in it was NASTY! Probably should have popped the rear cover off but I figure I'll let that go till I put the rear end braces on. The starter relay took a crap so I just went with the factory setup. It works fine without it. Next on the list is to tidy up some wiring and put some split sleeve on it and build some sort of battery hold down. Battery that came in the tractor is almost new but it's the wrong size. Then it's on to putting the fenders and hood on with the new grill. Once it's finished I'll run it for a season before getting into making it pretty. :beerchug:

Looks to be coming along nicely!
