Yeah, it was awfully disgusting. I still can't believe they didn't try to straighten the frame before they welded in the patches. The hood overlapped the dash by about 1 1/2". They also had a stack of washers under the back of the engine to get the driveshaft halfway straight.

Conner The tiller looks good on the 105.

Yeah, I still can't believe that he left that frame that way......but it doesn't matter now, because you made it better than new!

On my Cub 123 that I recently acquired, I have been needing to drain the hydro fluid and replace the filter. This afternoon, I got it drained and cleaned out (didn't need much, it looks real clean in there!!), and replaced the filter. Tomorrow, I should be receiving a gasket for the hydro rear cover, then I can put it back together and fill it up with fluid. I also cleaned the 90* gearbox that drives the #1 tiller. Tomorrow, I'll check the fluid in it, then mount it back on the tractor.

Finally back in action!! It's been a month since I've been able to work on my cubs and now I'm almost ready to roll. There was no garage door on my barn so I installed one yesterday and it came out nice. So now I can get my cubs in and out of the barn. Will rearrange setup some I'm sure, but feels nice! Now all I need is a couple Cub Cadet signs:biggrin2.gif:
