Well I took the engine out of the 1110 for a simple oil pan gasket change. It leaked ever since I bought it last spring. It sits in the shop and hasn't done anything, but it's one of those things that just eats on a person, till finally we fix it. And seeing the motor was out I am now doing a valve job and sanding down the motor for a face lift:bigthink: Knot head can't leave anything alone!
There has to be some hormone in us guys that we can't just do what we intended when we start a project. And here I'm messing with this other stuff and still haven't gotten the right rear wheel off yet (rusted tight)so I can finish the sand blasting and painting. (Rambiling on, sorry) |
Got my "used" RF Houtz $47.00 hitch plate installed on my 1810 (thing looks new except for some dirt) and my 11 year old got the fluids warmed up by driving it around the back yard for a bit.

Did a little welding on the cc36 blower shell and auger too. Installed the mounting bracket/gearbox for cc36 on the 71. Since I fixed the light switch I replaced both headlights and polished up the rings too. Will rebuild carb and replace fuel tank/sediment bowl this weekend with tank off my O. I have a very small leak on the 71 and want to have it running as good as possible for the snow:beer2:

Nice load on the trailer :biggrin2.gif: Beautiful area you have there  |
I didn't do this today but I did take the pics today.
I did a quick spray bomb paint job on the K301 and got it back in the 126. http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/a...9-17-10003.jpg I also removed the mailbox letters someone had used on the hood. The black stripes are painted on. I may try to get some decals for it. http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/a...9-17-10002.jpg The seat pan was rusted and cracked so I sandblasted it and welded some pieces on to reinforce it. I welded on carriage bolts so there are studs on the bottom to attach it to the springs. It needs painted and recovered. http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/a...9-17-10004.jpg |
