Plowed what will hopefully be the last snow of the season. It was that wet, heavy stuff that I didn't think I could push. Once again, the little 100 surprised me with a near full-sized tractor effort. After all the snow we've plowed this year, I finally cracked a weld on the lift rod on one of the last passes.

You still might have to Adam!:biggrin2:

Diz Jr. 04-20-2013 12:23 AM

The 100 looks good with the snow blade litlmikeyl :beerchug:

Methos 04-20-2013 07:57 AM

Mike your 100 looks awesome! You can always use your old lift rod as master to make a new rod.

Plowed about five furrows with the 1810 for the first time, broke the bead on the left rear. I guess the 100R got payback for not using it to plow with.

Sam Mac 04-20-2013 08:27 PM

Hope you got it fixed, looks like you have a lot of work to do from the looks of the size of that field. Maybe you need to have your own plow day event and get some help.:bigthink:

Donovan M. 04-20-2013 08:44 PM

Will be getting it fixed tomorrow.

Took the beast out today and killed some grass fast, man that 2284 with the 60" is an animal! Think I may get a set of AG's and wheels for it like I have on the 2182. The Big Girl needs more grip. :beerchug:

I bought an old Snapper YT last week that had an aftermarket seat on it so I swapped it onto the 1863. I bought some material to recover the seat a while back but never did anything to it. Maybe now that it's not on the tractor I will get a chance to work on it.

Ben you look so relaxed on the O and not as muddy as I understand your 1782 got yesterday.

CADplans 04-21-2013 09:40 PM

I put two of these black weights on the front of the 1872.

http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...ps87ccf0d8.jpg

I don't know if I should post a pic of the 1872 with the weights, I might get heckled off the forum!! :bigthink: They are BIG!!

:biggrin2:

Only 20 pounds more than the Greene ones, but, since they stick out so far, they REALLY anchor the front down!!

Donovan M. 04-21-2013 10:12 PM

Post the pics :biggrin2: :beer2:

I work on the 782 today and didn't have much luck with getting power to the electric feul pump. Where's my buddy Adam when I need him. I guess I can let him spend some time with his family.:biggrin2: I got to help out my neighbor today with the timing on his 100. Jay aka Sumbum stopped by to pick up the original rear end for his new to him 800! I was great getting to meet him and talk cubs. He was headed Sam's way last I saw him. I got to cut grass with the twin today. All around great cubin day!:beer2:

Jay is on the left and me on the right. I hope you can tell which one is the 800.:biggrin2:

Awesome pics guys!! Love the O doing some work Ben! Didn't get pics of my super mowing the other day but had a good time either way! Got it stuck once and the 100 pulled it out barely!! Mostly because the super is waiting to get loaded tires and the weights put on it!! Sorry bout the 782 Duke! The misses requires some time with them to keep them happy!!! Of course she's killing me with the talk of maybe a payment for a JD1 series wouldn't be that bad..... :bash2: so we bought some baby chicks yesterday which is one of her hobbies that I enjoy eating the eggs from!!

Oh i do remember i took pics from the ruts the two tractors made getting pulled out on saturday!!

ACecil 04-22-2013 11:28 AM

Adam, once you have the tires loaded on the super, nothing will stop it. I had my 1872 in some mud at the plow day, and it went right through it.
