Killed grass with the 2182 after the 5 + " of rain we got the last couple days. Glad it has AG's on it or I would have gotten stuck. :beerchug:

Well, I was sitting at the shop, and the ol' 1811 says to me "lets go do something"....
So, she talked me into cleaning up a rough patch next to the house. We began by cutting down a little tree. Attachment 38340 Then, we started mowing off the rough patch. Attachment 38341Attachment 38342 After we got a spot big enough cleared, we decided to drop this dead one. Attachment 38343 Took a while, and it didn't want to come down. Ended up falling just a little different direction than we thought it would. Attachment 38344Attachment 38345 We sat down to rest. Asked the ol' girl if she felt like dragging the tree to a little better spot. She said she was tired... Oh well, maybe tomarrow :bigthink: |

Finally got my wheel weights finished
I was finally able to finish re painting my wheel weights and got them installed over the weekend. I know they are not OEM Cub but they do weight 52lbs a piece and look heavier to match the BRS.

Thanks guys!
Sam I don't worry about the deck too much I mow every week with the BRS so the deck gets a few scratches, but if it makes you feel better I am in the process of re doing another 50in deck and when I get it done I'll redo this one. LOL |
Very bad Cub weekend for me. The vibration is back in the BRS, so Ill be pulling the new drive shaft out and trying to figure out was is causing the bad vibes. The BRY has decided to start leaking a little hydro fluid on the left side rear so I get to chase a leak. Love my Cubs but man sometimes its no fun when they break. :(

I took the tiller off the 123 along with the gear box and mule drive to put on the hydraulic lift 125, that I had to take the push blade off.
Opened two cans of worms:bash2: was as careful as I could be but popped the gasket on both tractors. The 123 I just changed the filter and Hy-tran two years ago, so I saved that fluid, but I never changed it in the 125, so I guess it wasn't a complete loss. Picked up a filter at CARQUEST and gaskets and fluid from my dealer. Not cheap, but if you want the best you pay the price for Hy-tran. Don't matter much, our IH dealer won't give a break on bulk oil:banned: so I needed the parts today to finish up this mess and move onto the next one. Everything is back on, except the tiller. Looking forward to not struggling lifting that tiller manually. Also mower with the 782 today, and it seemed to get hot. Now I have read about tractors getting hot before, but how do you tell between hot and normal? I mowed for what seemed like an hour or so, and popped open the hood and couldn't keep my hand on the air cleaner for long. Filter was clean, full of oil and it was only 80* I never had a closed hood and side tractor other than the 1650 and that seems ok. What do you think? |
I changed the oil in the 71 yesterday:

Vartz04- The black hitch is a Trac Vac hitch. I made up the red hitch as a simple drag hitch to pull my brinly and ohio steel tandem disk harrow. I'm sure I could make my own sleeve hitch out of it. Once the 72 is rolling, I will remove this from the 71 and reinstall the 60# counter weight I use for snow removal.

I never cease to be amazed

We were wondering how to move this trailer, it is full of stuff from a yard sale that we have every year. Everything that is sold takes us back to Haiti every January to do more of Gods work. I told a friend of mine that my Cub will work, He said its to heavy, and to heavy for his bumper or he would do it, then he left. At least I have pics to show him. I was all smiles.
Attachment 38600 The drop leg wouldn't crank up high enough so it scraped a bit Attachment 38601. |
Nice job!:beer2:
