It does look better after a cutting! And you right about only for a day. I'm afraid to put 2-4-D on it....... may just leave me with dirt! :bigthink:

That was my thought. Plus if I got any drift, the wife would have my hide for killing her flowers:biggrin2:
Every place I look, flowers, can't eat the darn things!

Well I started by changing the gasket and tranny fluid in my 1050.

https://imageshack.com/a/img541/1472/gbu1.jpg

Then I mowed with the 1330 and dethatched with the 1050. Next, I found out that the 127 I bought is limited by simple, fixable fuel problems. And I ended the day with a cruise on the 1050. Was a good day to Cub!!

Finally quit raining long enough to do some mowing late this afternoon.
Got the 169 out, made 1 lap and broke the P.T.O. belt.
So back to the garage and got the 149.
Daughter got a picture as i was heading down over the hill to do the field.

J-Mech 07-06-2013 10:53 PM

Lookin' good Allen! By the way, I hope you didn't get you butt handed to you because you used Jen's pot to drain the 1050 rear end! LOL! :biggrin2:

cubby102 07-06-2013 11:26 PM

Used the 124 today to pull my 99 ram home after my ol lady ran the truck out of gas 3 blocks from home. Worked it real good but she took it like a champ and only had the clutch slip one l time.. these tractors really impress me some times. Also got the front blade and engine mounted on my 62 original so it won't be long now. Got a few things to paint white still and gotta make up a wiring harness. Man I can't wait

Hope you don't mind, but to me that looks like a picture from long ago, back in the "good ole days" with that hat, but I'm pretty sure they weren't wearing shorts.

Nice job Ben. From the looks of the weather report you may get to do it over and over and over for the rest of the week. I need to build an Ark.:bash2:

Stuck the 1863 in the Garden

The sun came out for a while this afternoon so I decided to mow around the garden. Well, I was looking to see if I had any squash and got two wheels off in the plowed ground. It would only spin so I had to get the farm tractor and pull it out. While I was fooling with it the clouds rolled back in and rained some more.

Worked on the 71/121 and since it hasn't rained today I got to use the pool for a change.:beerchug::beerchug::beerchug:

Would have been much easier for the cub to take the gas can to the Ram (but not near as much fun, and without bragging rights!!!):beerchug: LOL!

Killed grass with the Big Dog 2182. Gave up on waiting for the grass to dry up. I hate cutting when it's wet but the lawn was looking like a hay field. Surprised at how well it handled it.

No mowing here, Sam. Might need an ark, before the weekend is over...lol! :biggrin2:
