You're right, Todd. That 782 will get down the road! :beerchug:

Seat Time

Got 150lbs. of fertilizer-20/0/2 spread just before the rain. I
hate zebra stripes so I cut down the spread rate to 1/3 the drop & ran the cubby over & over & over to ensure a good no stripe drop.
I normally would of spread 250lbs., but?

So as an end result i tracked over my yard 3 times when 1 time would have done it.

Finished spreading & the rain came 10min. later.

Dont trust myself?:biggrin2:

Well I was mowing the grass and all of a sudden I hear clunk, bam, grrr, the deck lifts up in the air and slams back down and this is what I sent through the deck. The front roller fell off and the blades did a number on it. Had to break out the BFH and adjust it a little to get it to fit back. Guess I didn't put loctite on the nuts.:bash2:

Diz Jr. 08-02-2013 11:23 PM

Make sure to get us some pictures of the new tires mharrison

Oak, i bet that made a racket. Hope it didn't tear up to much.

That sucks:bash2: I hate them noises like that.
How bad did it mess up the blades?

Cubcrazy 08-03-2013 08:00 AM

Diz & Todd, I got lucky and it didn't bend the blades. Everything seems okay so far.

Mike, I only use the 3205 to mow with. The power steering and tight radius kinda got me spoiled.

ACecil 08-03-2013 10:06 AM

Glad there was no damage, Todd.

OK, I know I didn't recognize the part. hehe
I see why that would get you spoiled! Nice tractor!

ACecil 08-03-2013 10:34 PM

Had to do some lawn sweeping. Also took the 1872 for a spin. :beerchug:

Had the 123 out last night for a run:beerchug:
Today Nancy worked the "O", hauled some branches and weeds from the garden.

Great pics, Sam & Todd!

Grampie 08-10-2013 09:15 PM

I'm not sure Sam but I think you might need a cup holder to go with that nice seat cover! :biggrin2: Glad all went well. (by the way, it's not that ugly of a duck)

Grampie 08-10-2013 09:18 PM

Nice pics Todd!:beerchug:

Jtstein98 08-10-2013 10:22 PM

Pulled the old wheels off my 100 im restoring and got all new ones. All new belts and actually got it up and running! But not long after my excitement was crushed when it started leaking oil really bad. so now tomorrow ill be fixing that.

jimbob200521 08-11-2013 08:30 AM

Finally got the 54" blade on the 1050 today and later on put the new liquid filled tires with chains on her to test out. Traction was no longer a real issue after that when pushing but the shifter did break towards the end of the day so now I get to replace that :bash2: Otherwise, got the 682 running, 1050 set for winter, and the blades on my 129 sharpened and did some ditch mowing with her (won't dare take the 682 on those hills :biggrin2:)

I got the 782D out and did an oil and filter change. O'Reilly stocks the WIX filter...yay! Anyway, a simple job unless you misalign the oil drain funnel over the sidewalk.

OOps! Guess who's going to be doing pressure washer duty today?

John

Oops, had an impromptu RPRU today!

:Cub8:When we were heading down to the big field for the weekly mow, the boy's 80LT broke the drive belt tensioner spring. I put him on the 782 as a substitute, the younger boy had his 382 like usual, and it was the 982's turn in the rotation cycle. As we were heading down the driveway, I realized that I had created my own RPRU!

Sorry for the smartphone pics; they wash out the red and don't do the tractors justice! The boys are 7 & 9 now; I'm soo proud of how seriously they take operating the tractors! No point trying to vaccinate them against Yellow or Red Fever!
