Sweet looking grill and I'm sure the headlight panel will be just as nice:beerchug:

I got to working on the tiller and finally got the left extension off:biggrin2.gif:. Still can't get the right side to move, will give it another shot in a day or 2 after letting it soak in PB. Also had a grease fitting stuck in front wheel of Original that I'm getting ready to send to sandblaster. There was no shoulder of the nipple to grab onto and it was seated in there so tight I couldn't get the vise grips to back it out, so I welded a bolt to it and then cranked it out no problem!! Did some more priming and paint and the blower today too:beerchug:

Glad you got the grease fitting out. They can be a pain sometimes.
Hope you get the tiller the rest of the way apart :beerchug:

Adam- Nice work so far! Keep an eye out for an IH emblem for it now! Sminkey- Those Original rims must be awesome, because my rims dont have greese zerks for some reason. I always keep them greased by jacking up the tractor, removing the wheel and using wheelbearing grease.

I wonder?

Now I have to go look at my other O' to see if it has grease fittings on its front wheels too, thought they all did, guess not!

Jude, you are correct. All the Originals had grease fittings in the front wheels.

well, pulled apart the motor sorta on the 122. had to replace a busted head gasket. got the head taken off with careful order of the bolts and washers for each hole. got the new gasket on after cleaning the carbon and crap off of the motor and the head. got it all bolted back together. glad i had checked the dip stick before i started it. the oil wasnt even touching the dip stick! haha so i drained what was left of the oil (the rest came out the hole in the head gasket all over the grill) and it was about a 1/4 of a quart. so i got some new oil in it, started it up and she purrs like a kitten yet growls like a lion with the stack on it. think i might go back to a muffler. we shall see. anyway, good day. next item on the list is a busted valve stem on the speedex and a new project tractor! :biggrin2.gif::biggrin2.gif:
