Got the 1772 ready to do some plowing this fall. I'd post some pics but I'm on my cell.

Got the GT48" deck together for the 1641 AKA Black Jack I put together for my daughter, put it on and did a test cut with it. Still waiting for the bolts for the front wheels for the deck from the Cub dealer. Cool little grass killer. I post some pics when its done.

Electric deck lift

I installed an electric deck lift on the grass cutter today.Works great,it also has the seat kit installed on it and the 27hp Kawasaki engine.Hopefully its the last grass cutter I'll ever have to buy.:beerchug:

Looking good! :beerchug:

This morning I made a trip down to Chris Westfall's to pickup the engine that will soon be replacing the Onan in my 782. It's a Kohler Magnum 20hp. I was just curious, I know it'll bolt up fine but what all needs changed on the wiring since the onan has points and the m20 doesn't?

Did a little cleaning in the shop today and had to move all of the kids outside so it seemed like a good time for a group pic.

Cubcrazy 09-08-2013 06:19 PM

Nice group pic Sam!

New Electric Deck Lift

3 Attachment(s)
I added a new deck lift to the LZ60,just had to have it,works great and well built.Cub Cadet built on heck of a mower when they built this thing. It also has the seat kit on it which does wonders for the ride quality and my back.Powered by the 27hp Kawasaki, should last a long time.I tried to post this lastnight, don't know where the post went so if y'all see it somewhere else on OCC,my apologies!!!!!!!

johncub7172 09-08-2013 09:49 PM

Heck of a line up, Sam! Even the JD looks good, sure could use a set up like that once in a while! :OhOh:

ACecil 09-08-2013 11:05 PM

Your yard is really looking good ACecil
We are starting to get a little dry here.

zippy1 09-10-2013 12:49 AM

Looking good Allen:beerchug:
I would say you would be a good spokesperson for that brand of lawn sweeper. All the miles you put on it in a year should be worth something:biggrin2:

Haven't gotten much seat time, since the Gout flare up. So I hauled some water and Jenn's teas. I really needed the cub time! :biggrin2:

Cubcrazy 09-17-2013 08:59 PM

I like the look of it Sam!:beerchug:
Should be a fine mower for your daughter.

ACecil 09-18-2013 11:56 AM

That's nice, Sam. Your daughter will enjoy it.

Great pic!

I've been looking for one just like this to compare a 682/782 to a Super, size wise, to show the g/f so I can convince her that I need one :biggrin2::beerchug:

Cubcrazy 09-19-2013 07:20 AM

Looking good Allen:beerchug:

I got the hoses and the new hydraulic nipples on the duel stick 1650 today. But like most times, one thing turns into three.
The hydraulic control valve was stuck, never been used I suppose. So I got out a 2x4 and PB. Blasted and pounded the valve down then it was stuck down. So made this "thing" out of angle iron to pry up on the valve.
Cut a slot in it then added an adjustment bolt to use for plying against the valve assembly. Anyway, up, down, up down and finally everything became free. Hooked up the cylinder and everything works:beerchug: but the cylinder has a little leak.
Next thing is to get the blade blasted and painted.

Cubcrazy 09-20-2013 07:36 AM

Looks good Todd!

ACecil 09-20-2013 12:56 PM

Thanks Todd, and your work is looking good!

Started om my Super today!

I pulled the seat pan to fix my loose trunnion spring. While everything was apart I went ahead and pressure washed all the black off. That led to some rattle canning some rust. The inner spring was broken so I used a small lock washer on that side, a small flat washer on the other side, and two bigger flat washers on the ends of the big spring. No more creep :beerchug:

ACecil 09-22-2013 11:22 PM

Got to lawn sweep the yard with the super. Always enjoy my super seat time! :beerchug:
