finally got my leaf sucker setup on the 1782 today. had to make a custom deck attachment for the 60" haban, but it worked out ok. need to finish sandblasting it and get some paint on it, but had to try it out and make sure it worked first!
Worked good, then the charge light came on again. I replaced the alt with my other one before and it was working. haven't had time to figure out what quit this time. only the second time I've run it since it was fixed. :bash2:

Thanks, Allen! I need to start looking for a real wagon. That was about all that TSC cart wanted! I used a come-a-long to winch that tiller in there. I think they used recycled beer cans to make that cart  I need to move the ports to the back so I can have a real dump bed!!

What did I do today.. shovelled grain!

It has been a long time since I have been on here, but that doesnt mean I havent been busy!

We had a Super harvest this year, so its only fitting I clean up grain piles with a Super garden tractor!

This pile is Malting Barley, was about 5000 Bushels. We had a 10000 bushel wheat pile as well. All the bins were full this year!

Tyler, That is a first for me, seeing a Cub Cadet used for pushing grain piles!

I have been thinking about converting my IH blade to a push box. We would run the 15' on the big loaders for serious snow removal. The custom blade is great!

Some nice tractors, gang! Wow!

I wish sometimes my mowing "killed some grass", but it keeps growing, and growing:biggrin2::bigthink:

Took the 1715 and wagon and taught my 12-year old to back up a two-wheeled cart. Once he got the hang of it, he was backing all the way up the driveway!

He REALLY got into it and dove into the challenge. Glad to see him get into something other than video games. :BangPC:

Last night, I pulled the driveshaft and clutch out of my 100 to replace a broken teaser spring. I'm going to make a new driveshaft since it is worn a lot in the area of the teaser spring and throwout bearing. I also noticed the belt driving my hydraulic pump is almost ready to snap so it's getting replaced too.

Today, I disassembled the clutch and got a piece of 4140 PHT to make the driveshaft.

I'm heading out to fire up the 1811 and use it to drag the green 317 out of the garage, because that's not going to be running this fall. Next i will hook it to the GT-18 that i thought ran out of gas, but won't restart, and drag that in to start trouble shooting. I thought id look on this site for ideas, and delay waking up the neighbors too early. I am a Deere guy, but the 1811 is a champ. If it had power steering it would be my keeper snow mover.

CedarBranchCoastie 10-19-2013 10:33 AM

Dreamed of owning one!

Shaner 10-19-2013 02:41 PM

sold all of my cub cadets yesterday including the 2072, 782, 129, 124 and original. kept the 122 tho to make room for 1 John Deere 140 H1, 2 John Deere 140 H3s and a ford LGT 145!

rydplrs 10-19-2013 07:38 PM

Heck of a machine! I'd be hard pressed to ever trade the Big Dog 2182 for 3 of those silly belt drive Jd's, LOL! :American Flag 1:

120 and 140 are shaft drive hydros. They preceeded the 300 series.

Now be honest, how many times did you keep dumping them back out so you could keep sweeping them up to get more seat time.:bigthink:
