I got the 100 back up and running. Had it torn down to replace the clutch teaser spring and made a new driveshaft. I found that the pulleys on my hydraulic pump system were worn in the V. I originally made the pulleys from aluminum but now they are steel so they should not wear out again.
I also had to weld up my muffler where the inlet goes in. It was cracked almost all the way around. The heat shield/muffler mount was cracked around the bolt holes too. I cut off my stack and made it into a short deflector to keep from cracking the muffler again. After the 100 was fixed, I hooked up my trailer and cleaned up the limbs from the yard after the heavy wind we had last week. I hauled the mower deck to the shed and threw the snow blade on to get ready for the snow to start flying. |
Sounds good, Adam! Let's see a pic of your 100 with the blade on. :beerchug:

Got the 1450 and my yard cart out Sunday to pick up some things before it starts to snow.

Did some lawn sweeping with the 782. We had a lot of leaves today! :beerchug:

We had a lot of leaves today!
Looks like a bit of an understatement, bet that kept you busy for a while.:beerchug: |
Looking good Allen!
That is a lot of leaves! |
Had a good Cub day, fixed a minor oil leak on Black Jack. A couple of the bolts in the axle tubes were seeping so get it up on the lift, drain the oil out, pull the bolts one at a time clean and put Indian head sealer on the threads along with silicone under the head of the bolts and reinstall. Let it sit for a couple hours and refilled the trans. Put the refurbished 60” Haban back on the 2182. Took the 1782 that I recently purchased out and cut some grass with it just to see if I noticed any issues of major importance, all good. Pulled the 60” deck off it and put the tractor up on the lift so I can get ready to service it. Got the snow plow out for the BX just in case we get some of that nasty white stuff some of you guys are all excited about playing in. Sorry no pics today. :beerchug:

Allen,
You love that Sweeper. |
Thanks guys! I was pretty busy yesterday!
I sure do, Lew. :beerchug: |
Got to take Dually and the super for a ride today! Dually is running great!

Looks like you got some serious leafage Allen!
Mowed my yard for the last time today. Think I'll take Sam Mac's advice and get the mower deck ready for next season before I put it away. Probably clean and put the tiller away too. Had some more work to do with it, but it's rained quite a bit here and don't think it's going to dry enough to use. Next project, get the machines ready for the white stuff! :beerchug: Sorry, no pics today! |
I sure do, Jonathan. The Sycamore is only half way done dropping the leaves...lol.
|
Allen,
I've got three words for ya: "Light a match". :biggrin2: All kiddin' aside, that Sycamore must be huge! Nice job with the leaves. |
Good job on the leaves Allen:beerchug: but I know if I had a tree with that many leaves, a chain saw a tractor and trailer would be working hard and I would have a big pile of wood:bigthink:
|
Cubota
Had the lil red smoker out doing leaf mulching today (I was too lazy to get the sweeper out...maybe next weekend) . What a glorious fall day in the Carolinas to get Cub exercise done!

Thanks guys! We love the Sycamore, and it's sentimental to me. My grandpa planted it many years ago. I don't mind the leaves, they give me plenty of seat time! :beerchug:
