Let it snow

I got my 2182's ready for the snow. Changed oil and hytran. New battery cables, adjusted valves, and installed Sam's torque arms on both. Now it can snow! Don

How do you like the torque arms? Great looking 2182's. :beerchug:
Seat on the one on the right looks comfy.

KayakDon 11-12-2013 05:10 PM

The torque arms fit perfectly with no problem. I haven't moved the Cubs other then out the door for the pics. The front mounts are a great jacking point for my floor jack! I also put on a sleeve hitch with an electric winch for the lift like your 2182.

You know the drill , WE NEED PICS! LOL. :biggrin2:

Love to see your winch setup.:beerchug:

Think you will notice that your 2182's are now much stiffer but I want you to let us know what you think.:bigthink:

Don

What did you do for a hitch?

Just a FYI guys Harbor Freight has those winch's on sale for $57.99 in the sale flyer. Reg price is $99.99 but they have a $42.00 coupon. Good till 11/30/13

KayakDon 11-13-2013 05:18 PM

The hitch is from Xtrememotorworks with the ears,The "Xtreme Hitch" and their Brinley style sleeve hitch bracket. I modified the ears to fit over your torque bars to bolt in the ears. Don

Good setup, just wanted to be sure you had more than just the bolts into the back cover holding it on. Just a FYI Aaron will build that hitch with the ears moved out 3/8" on each side so that it will fit over the torque arms. All you have to do is ask him when you order it. He did one for me and it fit like a glove.

KayakDon 11-13-2013 05:59 PM

I asked Arron and he said he couldn't do it for me, So I just cut and moved ears over 3/8th on both sides.

Nice sweeping pics Allen! All the leaves about down yet?

ACecil 11-18-2013 11:38 AM

Thanks guys!

Mike, the Sycamore is halfway done. I'll be sweeping leaves until mid December or so. :beerchug:

More seat time for you Allen!:beerchug:

Sam Mac 11-18-2013 07:47 PM

Allen

Cool to see you enjoying the 100. My Cubs are all put away till spring, I'm bummed. :beerchug:

ACecil 11-18-2013 10:10 PM

That's right, Mike! :biggrin2:

Thanks Sam! I don't use the cubs much during the Winter, but ride them around to keep the batteries charged. If we get some snow, I'll get some seat time on the 782. :beerchug:

zippy1 11-19-2013 12:19 AM

Allen, I see the 1872 is keeping an eagle eye out making sure Dually is doing the job right:biggrin2:
Shorts weather by you, long john weather by us, high's in the 20's for the weekend:angry:
Good job on the leaves buddy:beerchug:

That's a good idea Allen! By then the yards are probably soaked up with water. Up here, you never put your IH Cub Cadet "away" , just my lawn tractor, weed wacker, and the chipper-shredder. IH Cub Cadets and Stihls pretty much run year 'round!

Got the 2072 out for the first time in awhile and had to take it for a spin!
Got about 3-4 inches of snow but I was just playing!

You have white grass, that's not a good thing. :biggrin2:

ACecil 11-24-2013 05:47 PM

Nice 2072 and blade, Mike! :beerchug:

ACecil 11-24-2013 05:49 PM

Jenn and I took a cold ride this evening. Then I hauled our newspaper for the fire pit. :beerchug:

Nothing wrong with "just playing" Mike:beerchug:

johncub7172 11-24-2013 07:19 PM

Nice 2072 Mike, looks mean and ready in natural elements!

Allen, Nice 1872! The IH # 2 yard cart is ready to go!

:biggrin2:

Shrewcub 11-24-2013 07:48 PM

Nice Supers Mike and Allen! Wish I could have played today but I was getting ready for the white grass:crap:, as we had some flurries last night. :biggrin2: Fired up the 1864 (which took forever to warm up) and mulched up some leaves. Then pulled the deck and mule off and cleaned and greased them up. I think I will wait til spring to spray the bottom with this graphite paint I bought at TSC. It was a little cold for paint today! Then fired up the 1811 and pulled the deck and mule to get ready to mount the 450 blower up :biggrin2:
Also pulled the 2072 in the shed and cleared a spot to sit the engine once I pull it. Drained the oil overnight so hopefully it doesnt make a huge mess when I tear it apart :beerchug:

Yep I know what. 8:00 PM and it's 20 here, looks like it's even cold at Allen's place, he has long pants on instead of his shorts.:biggrin2:

ACecil 11-24-2013 10:08 PM

Thanks guys!

No snow here, Mike. It's cold enough to snow though.

Sam, we had a high of 38 today.
