put a few coats of paint on the ol 122, and started to reassemble it. Now I'm waiting for the sheet metal to come back from the media blaster so I can paint them. I'm also waiting on my new steering column...

Thanks guys!

I hear ya, Sam! I thought I was finished with the leaves...lol! :beerchug:

vartz04 12-07-2013 03:05 PM

Took the 104 and hooked it up to the little 4 Wheel wagon I made. Mulched up the leaves in the fenced area of the yard and put them in the compost bin. Got rid of all the dog poo too. Then I ripped out 3 small Arborvitae trees that didn't make it after last year's drought. At - 10 for a Wind chill it was a bit brisk.

Ps 4 link chains suck. I am tempted to fluid fill the 6-12 ags and see if I can get by with that. Unless they are free like mine were buy the 2 links. The ride is much better.

Vartz04,
Just fyi, maybe this is common knowledge, I got my peerless 2 link chains to fit the 682 (23x10.5-12) on amazon for $55.00 I think, just about a month ago and free shipping! They said it would be 4 -5 days, I think they were here in 2 or 3. They fit very well, haven't thrown one in about half dozen or so blow sessions. I would like to buy local but the ones I found at TSC were peerless 4 link for $79.00.

Weren't you pulling that same cart with the same stuff around with your 782 awhile back? Do you load the same stuff into the same cart and pull it around just to get some seat time?:p

I got to try it this week and it works pretty good. The deflector movement is a little slow. Next time I will get a faster actuator. I used relays along with the joy stick to power the motor and actuator. Next up is a better wiring harness and cleaning it up a little. I did make some compromises because I wanted to be able go back to the old system if this failed. I am sure I will get more chances to play with it over the next couple of months.

That's sweet! How on earth did you come up with that idea?

The first time was bringing the decorations to the house. In the other pics, I was taking the empty bins back to the shed.

c69ss396 12-12-2013 03:29 PM

I used windshield washer fluid (cheap, won't freeze and non corrosive) to fill my rear tires, I put 5gal in each. So at $1 a gallon I'm in it a whole $10 bucks. I just broke down one side and poured it right in...

123Pokey321 12-13-2013 12:17 PM

Hi c69ss396, I'm located in Waterford (off of Great Neck Rd). Are you getting ready for the "big storm" this weekend? I have my doubts about getting lots of snow but I could definitely see it being a snow/slush/ice/rain event.

ACecil 12-17-2013 02:50 PM

Beautiful day in NC! Had to get the 782 and super out. :beerchug:

ACecil 12-17-2013 03:07 PM

No thanks, Darrell. Come to think of it, throw in the 982, and I might consider it. :biggrin2:

IliketheRedcubs 12-17-2013 03:13 PM

Ah, no! :biggrin2: Just think of it though Allen... you could try out your plow on the 782! LOL!! :ROTF1: You better enjoy that weather while you have it!! Up here in Michigan we're getting snow and more snow! Kinda cold too!

ACecil 12-17-2013 03:23 PM

Can't blame me for trying...lol! It's 62 degrees here now. I'd love to try the 782 and blade out in some snow. :biggrin2:

I think I fixed the possibility of snow for this area, I put the plow and chains on the Bota. Now that I'm ready we wont get any. At least I hope not. :biggrin2:
