insulted mine
I insulted my cub 126 by parking a JD manufactured Scotts 1642 near it's shed. I'm hoping the new battery I installed in the 126 yesterday will make up for the infraction.:NailBite:

The guy that gave me the 782d called me to help him toss some stuff into a large dumpster as he's moving and clearing house.
I found the original bill of sale for the tractor and deck and the full complete factory manual with supplemental instructions from Cub Cadet for the tractor and deck in a nice 3 ring binder. The tractor and deck cost around 4500 new back in the day. :biggrin2.gif: |
Sharp looking 169, Diz!

anything you see that i could improve on please let me know because this is the first cat 0 3pt iv had.. i built the hitch and plow with out any plans

That's not a Cat-0 3-point...all you did was add two arms to the lower bracket of the IH 3-point. The Cat-0 (and Cat-1,2,3) hitches have two lower arms that go up and down, and the 3rd (upper) link just floats and is in no way connected to the two lower arms.
You need anti-sway chains between the lower arms, or when you use the blade angled or hit a rock or turn, it'll swing to the side and hit the rear tire. Also, it looks like you have a lot of slop in the ends of the arms, which may cause problems. The biggest problem I see is the angle of the blade itself. It will be angled the wrong direction so it won't cut into the ground; instead it'll just ride along on top. |
You've been busy, Bill! :beerchug:
Nice rear blade, 48Farmall. Got some seat time in today. Hauled my wife's Halloween decorations to her shed. Then hooked up my plow, and moved it to my shed. http://i487.photobucket.com/albums/r..._1112Small.jpg http://i487.photobucket.com/albums/r..._1118Small.jpg |
