Thanks guys!

Put some new tires on the 2072. I got frustrated with not being able to pull my fencing trailer around the pastures when it gets slick. I kept the turfs in hopes I can find some cheap rims to mount them on.

Nice boots and cub! :drool2:

1811woody 01-04-2014 09:18 PM

What did I do to my cub today? More like what did I try to do with my cub: angry: I was in the process of installing my new tie rod set and the last outer I was installing turned out to be the wrong thread so here I sit with the cub sitting in the middle of the garage jacked up in the air and out of commission until I get the correct part from the ebay seller. I hope they will make it right and do next day air. I suppose I could put the old back on but its still the point what can go wrong will! CRAP

I'm depressed my 1810 is tucked away (only turf tires and a mower deck). No good this time of year. Glad to see you guys workin' the Cubs!

I have a belly grader blade I can install on my Monkey Wards (Gilson). It has turf tires and tire chains, but I'm not sure how well the belly grader will push snow and if it's worth the effort to drop the deck and mount the grader.:bigthink:

Jenn and I loaded up the super, and took it to my buddy. :beerchug:

Finally getting my 2072 in shape for snow. Cleared 11 driveways and most of my street. Put chains on right after this pic to complete the package. Fix on the blade is working well. Mac brace firmed up the frame twist and doing nicely. I have some parts for my H48 on the way for any bigger storms.
Thanks to all of you guys for the advice and info of this site.

ACecil 01-06-2014 12:41 PM

Nice 2072 and blade! :beerchug:

Man, is it cold out! Only 20 today, the low this morning was 9! In anticipation for the cold weather, I took the 782 for a cold ride yesterday evening. Also started Dually, and let him run for a few minutes.

Figured we would see you in the pic wearing shorts and a tee shirt since it was that warm. Made it all the way up to 15 up here. Time to open the pool. :biggrin2:

johncub7172 01-07-2014 06:28 PM

That's a nice IH Cub Cadet 782 Allen! No cold weather ride for me.

IHinIN 01-07-2014 07:43 PM

Nice pic of the 782 Allen. Your low temp was higher than our high temp today. -11* this morning and 7* now. Supposed to be around 20* tomorrow. Heatwave!

EricR 01-07-2014 09:39 PM

Very nice pic of the 782 Allen, yeah our low was -8 this morning and only got to +5 here today but with the wind chill factor they said we were close to 42 below, I still can't get warm today, lol.

ACecil 01-07-2014 11:04 PM

Thanks Eric! Hope you get warm! :beerchug:

Got the family out for a group photo or two. The puller and the other "O" are now loaded up in the trailer, waiting for the show next week in Fort Meade, FL.

Good thing I spent a little time driving them around. The puller's spark plug was going south. When I held the wire close and let it spark, it would run. As soon as I'd touch the top of the plug with the wire, it would die. When I sparked over to the top of the plug, the spark was light and weak, when I shorted it over to a stud on the engine, a nice, blue spark appeared. That told me that it had a good spark, just didn't make it's way through the plug. When I pulled it out, there was carbon on it. I just replaced it and it runs fine!

What did I do to my cub today. Well I replaced all the steering heim joints including for the power steering cylinder then I realigned the front end. I replace the tail lights with oem that I got from ebay. I added a receiver hitch for pulling implements or trailers. Re gaped the regaped spark plugs to
.035. Then I stood back and admired it I sure love my super. :Salute:

We had a bad storm today, I'll probably be doing limb duty tomorrow. On another note, the new ignition module came for the 1872 today! :beerchug:

Sam Mac 01-11-2014 07:58 PM

Allen

Hope you didn't have any serious damage from the storms. All we got is rain.
