cub123 01-12-2014 11:31 AM

Cool pic Ken:beerchug: I used the 149/ FEL to load a 55 gallon drum of used oil yesterday because our other two loader tractors are down. Actually handeled it better than I thought it would, sorry, no pics.

What did I do with my Cub today?

Striped down a narrow frame deck to bare naked sheet metal.
Naked everything that was bolted on to it that is.
Take it to work tomorrow to see if I can get a "government job" replica of it made. At least one gauge thick steel or maybe SS.

Also took dimensions of the diff cover and sleeve hitch adapter bracket that is bolted to it.
I am going to make a one piece unit out of 1/4" plate.
Why does that bracket have three holes for the adapter hinge point?
Does anyone really re-position the adapter into another hole for each attachment?

I started my cub 122 yesterday checked charging voltage and was over 15v so today pulled in garage took voltage regulator off cleaned to make sure good ground. Took cover off ran some sandpaper thru points put back on rechecked 12.2v. went back and checked again when running charging less than battery voltage slightly moved adjustment screw now 14.7 volt hope all is well now

nikster 01-13-2014 08:08 PM

Not today but last weekend.

I plowed my drive 4X over the weekend (17" total)

This was my final plow from the overnight dusting. Besides more seat time I found it easier for me & my # 127 to plow in stages rather than TRYING to move all that snow at one time. Gotta push all the snow to the end of my drive against the little round-about we have thats in our cul-dusac.

At 4deg. it was BRUTAL. My goose down hunting jacket sure does the trick.:beerchug:

Never posted a video before but I hope it works?

Nik,
