Ya, that cart really sits nicely with the O':beerchug:. I got around to installing the plow that came with my 1st O' on my 2nd O'. You can see (in next to last pic) how the plow was setup when I got it. It had a cable to connect the lame liftrod to the plow and it was all loose where it was attached to tractor. I had to fabricate some brackets for the plow main pivot and I needed a lift rod so I made one out of a chute control rod for a cw36 blower. I had to bend and cut the end off, then drill a hole for the cotter pin, came out nice and works great:biggrin2.gif: Can's wait to use it now! Been snowing off and on the last 3 days here. No accumulation down here in the valley but over a foot at 2,000' and above. Almost all my cc36 blower parts are sprayed, just need to order a few new parts and will be back together in a couple weeks. Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow:beer2:

I got time to move the rear gauge wheel brackets on my 44C deck so I can run the 26x12x12's with it. I angled the left side and moved the right side out about 1/2". I'm going to wait to make the new rear hangers until spring. Need to get the blower out and give it a going over this weekend..

Garden Clean-up
 

Today I used the 149 and trailer to haul the rest of my dry beans out of the garden. Then, I cleaned up the old pumpkin plants out of the garden to burn. THis year I got a whole truck load of pumpkins, so the Cub Cadet didn't help with that. Next, I adjusted the carburetor a little to make it run better cold. Then I jump started the 1450 and drove it up to the shop to get the charging system working again. I'm afraid I gonna have to get a new battery as its the one I got with the tractor and its failing. This was about the most Cub Cadetish day I've had in months. Next I'm gonna plow the garden to freeze out the squash bugs.

It was actually Sunday, but my 982 rear is still apart. I got the axle tube gasket on and I happily didn't need to helicoil the case. The bolts were just a little short. I chased the threads and they torqued very nicely. I still need to get the rear cover back on, fill with hi-tran and replace the relief valves. I ordered from LJ supply and they couldn't have been nicer on the phone or quicker with their shipment. Great to deal with. Once I get that all back together, she'll get a rest for the winter. I'm hoping to be done this weekend. I also want to get a set of vredestein ribs for the 1862 for snow blowing. The original turfs are pretty tired and worn, so I'm going to have to do something soon.

I finally got the PTO off of the 128 engine and I used the trick of drilling two holes in the basket pulley to remove it with my puller. Worked like a dream. All the set screws came out great, but the pulley bearing was an absolute bear, but with persistence and a beer or two to control my desire to hit it with a big ole hammer I finally got it off... :biggrin2.gif: All I have left to remove is the flywheel and I need to run to the local TSC to pick up a couple grade 8 bolts long enough to work with my puller. Then I can open up the oil pan and remove the rod, piston and see what the insides look like. Today is clean up day, getting all my tools back in place and vacuuming up all the crud that came off the motor and flywheel screen. That stuff is blacker than coal dust and just as bad. LOL
