Glad you got to get Dually and the 782 out Allen:beerchug:

ACecil 01-22-2014 08:47 PM

Thanks guys!

I wish, Lew. It was starting to rain when I put Dually away.

johncub7172 01-23-2014 09:33 AM

Well, have not had the 71 out now in 2 weeks. Today we're accumulating snow, and has been cold! About 10* at the moment, so might get some late January action shots in!

The cubs look great Allen!

ACecil 01-23-2014 12:17 PM

Thanks John! Hope you get some action pics! :beerchug:

Just a teaser. I'll share more when it actualy charges a battery :biggrin2:

Kinda cold working by torpedo heater in 2 degree weather in an uninsulated garage lol So yes progress is slow

ken6x6 01-24-2014 08:38 AM

Looks like a Kubota that you will be able to use the PTO and the lights at the same time! Very nice. :beerchug:

andyw 01-24-2014 09:00 AM

For $44 I couldnt pass it up. lol

When slowblowing the cab glows like a Xmas tree plus a strobe on top. Im sure all that about has that lil factory alternator maxxed out. I live on a main route, I like people being able to see me since most of my snow removal happens after dark.

Gave the 682 a workout today, snow up to the top of the blower, most I've had her in, of course she did just fine. I like how it blasts the snow onto the trees that high, not quite as high as my walk behind but close and a lot easier on the back and hands!

Great pics. Some of us here are envious. I hear word of early February we might get some. Painted the blades for and have the snow blower all set up. Just waiting. ..

Cubcrazy 01-25-2014 03:31 PM

zippy1 01-26-2014 08:02 PM

782's all dressed up and ready to go:beerchug:
Allen, looks good with the push blade.

IHinIN 01-26-2014 09:04 PM

Allen, hope you get to push some snow with the 782. I've had enough of the stuff and am ready for spring. Calling for -17* this week.

Today, I pulled the generator off of the 100 to solve my charging issue. Found the field wire broken loose from the post inside. Soldered it back on and need to pick up new brushes tomorrow to get it charging again.

I hear ya Adam. We currently are in blizzard conditions right now with an actual low temp supposedly to get down to -17* with wind chills a balmy -30* to -40*. Really gettin' tired of this cold and snow. Been a long winter and it's not over yet. Allen, I'll send ya some white stuff to put that blade to use. :beerchug:

Thanks John! We may get up to 6" maybe more. Looks like you'll be getting some snow also. :beerchug:

Cold, cold January,...

Last night's wind and snow storms produced some terrific snow drifts. Had to get out the IH Cub Cadet 71 and clean up the drive. The winter weather has kept me busy the last 8 days, some times going three rounds per day.

Paused a moment to deliver a snap-shot of a quite impressive gear drive narrow frame garden tractor outfitted with IH 42" push blade.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but that tractor looks like it's showing off after a job well done :beerchug:

Cubcrazy 01-27-2014 07:09 PM

Nice pic of the 71 John!

johncub7172 01-27-2014 07:44 PM

Thanks guys! :raise my coffee cup: Lol!

I nearly lost the tractor in the ditch today clearing past the mail box. Got it out, but I was a little worried that would not be possible because of the tractor's weight. Just been so cold and slick that traction has been a issue as of late.

Take care, keep warm!

ACecil 01-27-2014 08:40 PM

Great pic of the 71, John!
