Nice pic Allen! You might as well take the blade off the 782, you are done getting snow now!:biggrin2:

Thanks Mike! I believe the snow is done here this Winter.
|
Maybe not snow but titan is coming all the way across the US and is predicted to do bad things to us all.
|
Mounted the QA42 back on, just in case we get hit with any of the snow that's headed our way...

I wish I could say PA is done with the snow but doesn't look that way this weekend!:bash2:

Had Black Jack out for some yard clean up. The Co Pilot had to go for a ride. Weather was nice for a change, 55 and mostly sunny. :beerchug:
|
Looks good Sam! All your snow is gone too!
|
Mike
Most of our snow was gone in a few days. No I don't miss snow, BTDT. I do feel for you guys in the never ending snow belt. Just hope we dodge the next one coming across the country. :beerchug: |
I wouldn't mind snow if it came and was gone in few days but up here it comes and stays for months!:biggrin2:
Is this next one going to hit you Sam? |
Snow
Tell Me about it.
Sam that grass looks so good. Your pics look like spring has arrived and Mike and I will be buried in the lovely white stuff very soon. We did hit the high fourty's today though. I got my wood cut, split and loaded and now I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the day. Take care, Mike |

I feel for you. If we get anything out of the next one they say it will only be a dusting. I was in shorts today, not trying to rub it in but we had mid 50's today and supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow. Trust me I do not miss NE. :beerchug: |
It actually got to about 40 today and it felt like a heat wave!:biggrin2:
I'm glad it will be warm there though Sam. You got a guest house I can stay at?:bigthink::biggrin2: |
Bring it, TITAN!!!

I swapped the tires from the 1864 to the 1811 and chained them up, made a lift rod, and mounted the 450 to the 1811. Tomorrow I need to get the pulleys and belt on and install the chute and rotator handle. Let it snow!! Of coarse it won't now:angry:
I'm near Warrenton BTW. |
Nice Travis! Looks like you are in the 5-10 inch range!:beerchug:
|
Looks like a full government shutdown on Monday.
|
I'm ready for this round of snow. I hope:NailBite:
|
I disassembled the stack on my new 1512, sand blasted it, painted it, and added a longer pipe and rain cap.

1811/450 maiden voyage
Tried out the snow blower today. Everything worked well, except I wish I had been able to make my skis in time. I picked up a few rocks but all windows are fine:biggrin2:. I wish we had a little more but its still snowing pretty good:beerchug:

After getting tired of adjusting the height I took off the stock shoes and bolted on the home made skis that go on the plow for my ATV. Only hit 2 more pieces of gravel on round 2. As much fun as it was I'm ready to kill some grass. :beerchug:

Thanks for the vid and pics, Travis!

Did a little test plowing with the 1772 project tractor on a nice 70 degree Sunday afternoon. It will be going to Alabama on Friday for the first 2014 plow day.

Had a Great Cub Cadet Day Today
Today the 1782 and I killed the leaves that had accumulated this winter on my neighbors yard. His self-propelled walk behind mower would never have been able to mulch it and now those leaves do not exist! :biggrin2:
Then, I cleaned my bead blast cabinet, replaced the protective shields on the glass and installed new blast media. Wow, what a difference. I can actually see what I am doing now. It was then put to work blasting the plates, cups, pulleys, bolts and etc. that are a part of the 44C mower deck for my 1482 Cub. They now have a coat of etching primer. New outer pulleys are on order and it will soon be getting some small holes and cracks welded and a fresh coat of paint. I hope to sandblast the deck and belt cover in the next couple of days if the weather stays nice. |

This weekend was great!! Picked up the 782 for the Chinese diesel project on Saturday. Yesterday I had to rearrange some stuff to make room. I unhooked the snow blower from the 1811. That free cart has been one of the handiest things I own, except for the Cubs, of course! Moved the old 50C for 1811, got some wood in the house, and some general spring cleanup. :beerchug:
|
You've been busy, Travis.
|
Tell me about it, Allen!! I think I work harder on my day off than I do during the week! :biggrin2:
