IIRR but not sure, I think you can go to the new aluminum housings with replaceable taper roller bearings.
I did it on my 50A & 50C decks.
You might find a set of good used housings and the bearings are common outer GM wheel bearings LM11949 & LM 11910.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

George, where did you get them from? Saw some in the primline catalog I thought might work if I ever need t replace the ones On my 44a deck.

ebay for the bearings or rock auto, has good prices
as far as the housings, I found a rotted out deck from a 1720 and used them.

I agree with George.. find a later set of alum housings used and replace the bearings.. it works out great!

George..You wouldn't happen to know what models those alum housings are in would you? Or where I could possible find that information?

ol'George 12-04-2015 08:56 PM

the 1720 cub cadet I got mine from had a 46" deck
others here will prolly reply with other models that used them.

I think most of the CCC built tractors had the aluminum housings with the replaceable tapered bearings... I know I had a 1204 with a 44C and it had them... somebody else feel free to chime in and correct me if im wrong
