Let me say....that I have NO experience in the Haban snowthrowers.
Basing my observations on the above manual, it is in the mounting of the Haban. There are supports that go back to the foot rests. As we all know, that a SGT has a longer frame than a GT, thus the support brackets are longer on the H-48 as compared to the H-42. It is more than just being a "width" thing. Like I previously stated, one could custom fabricate the brackets and probably make it fit. |

there are no brackets going back on the frame the mount looks very similar to a qa42 without the adjustability maybe i'll go back and take some pictures and more measurements he's only asking $75.00 obo and it looks in decent shape

YUP....it is time for pics. We can guess and speculate all day long.

I would just haggle with him. Say that it will not fit your cub without some major modifing and offer $45. I think you can get it to work.

lol i was thinking the same thing as i'm on a tight budget and would really like to prove to the wife that the cub can pull it's own weight around the house she's pretty skeptical because it was a basket case when i received it

I wish you weren't so far away from my location; I have a IH Cub Cadet Model QA-42A snow blower that I am looking to sell or trade. It has been used on a IH Cub 782 and the snow blower is in great, well-maintained shape.
I am trying to match up a tiller to my Cub 782 and find a blade for the front of the garden tractor... -Joe |
