I got the 127 rolling again in both directions. The hydro release valves were a little iffy. Forward was really slow, but reverse was fine. Swapped the valves and messed with the release buttons a little. Got one button to where it wouldn't come back up. Took a valve from a 125 roller I have and cleaned it up. I put it in late last night, but couldn't fire it up to see if it worked until lunch today. Yaayyy, moves in both directions quick and easy. Put the new seat on Sunday, but hadn't got to sit in it until today.

The last pic is when I brought it home. Crappy metal universal seat pan had to go! Got the new seat on clearance at Lowes, just had to punch and tap some holes in the seat pan to install. I like it so far.

Pulled the head off to take care of a little oil leak. :)

Just some minor stuff. Should be good to go tomorrow.

klejeune;

I can not believe that you didn't like that pan seat, what with the "competition" wooden mounting bracket and all!

Nice looking replacement seat, just curious, how much did you have to give for it?

It was on clearance at Lowes for $44. I went to 2 stores and got 1 at each store. Nearest with any more was in Mt. Home, AR. Hey Dr. Bailey, up for a road trip? I wasn't...

OK, I cut and hauled three loads of Tiger grass today. This stuff is beautiful but a real handful if left stand all winter. [My wife thinks it looks pretty]. Also for those that may have never got to hear a 982 idle, here is a link to a video I shot this morning. That's Meg with her ball.

I've never heard an Onan idle before. That was pretty cool. Lopes right along deep and throaty, I like it!

Used the 106 to haul some truck parts to put into on of the trailers out back. She had quite a load on her with 8 semi brake drums, and two air tanks.:Kohler1:

They do have a sound all their own.
