Looks good, I was looking at one a few months ago on craigslist but the guy also wanted $450 - I couldn't justify it. Possibly the same one haha. Let us know how it works, that was my big question.

hello all
today i took out the bearings for the hammers out and wanted to show how they come out because people do get frustrated with this heck i did. first pic is with the bearing installed in the flange
http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0430.jpg
next is to remove the locking coller like your older pto's i used channel lockes on one side and vice grips on the other and just twist to loosen (((remember to even get this far the shredder has to be fully disassembled just to get to the flange)))
http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0431.jpg
next is to lightly tap the bearing on one side do not hit the flange you just want the bearing to twist
http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0432.jpg
http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0433.jpg
now you can twist the bearing to the recesses in the flange and just pull it out
http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0434.jpg
remember the bearing is oval and so is the flange its hade to see in the last pic

I will work on the hopper soon and then post a picture or it when it is complete but as you can see just to be on the safe side I replaced all the bearings and pulleys. The pulleys are now cast iron insetd of stamped steel/aluminum. I just had to start the tractor to se it work and boy my neighbor was impressed
