Well we ended up only needing one roll pin and new springs. We were able to bend the springs to make new hooks and replaced the roll pin and it works better than ever. Dad has decided to buy a new sub compact so soon the 1572 will be mine. If it breaks again then we will replace the whole drive shaft as you guys suggested.
