Guy just called and said someone offered him a few dollars more for it so he sold it out from under me. So much for thinking I had a tiller.:bash2:

What do yall think about this, it's the exact same tiller only alittle narrower and it doesn't have a hitch. It would be easy for me to fab up a hitch and extra set of tines maybe even make it 42" wide vs 36". Im going to go look at it after work tomorrow. It's 150$ cheaper and 5 mins from work the other was going to be a 3hr drive...

I have a IH 1A and love it. After my garden plants have grown my Cub and 1A doesn't fit so well so I have a tiller identical to the one you are looking at. Mine must be a little newer cause it says Craftsman but identical otherwise. It does a very good job and doesn't buck like dad's rear tine. I bought mine several years ago at a yard sale for $10 but was missing the gas tank and the PO left out the spark plug and stored it outside. Piston was halfway down and full of water. It took some PB Blaster and a wooden hammer handle to free rusted piston.:bash2:

Guy didn't know the difference in a 5hp and 8hp I made an offer but he declined so I am back on the hunt.
