I mounted a bracket on the hitch to hold a battery box, and used a car 875cca car battery. I only use my tractor for mowing and plowing snow, so I don't really use the hitch for anything else. But, I am thinking about altering my setup again. I want to add a little weight to the rear for plowing, and would like to make a bracket for the hitch to hold weights and the battery. Surprises me that I even need more weight, as I already have roughly 350lbs sitting on the seat along with chains.
