That pto also spins clockwise. I couldn't find the splined pto yoke on Baum's site. Does anyone know where to get them?

Thanks guy's for your comments but to answer just a few of the comments, First I agree with and the reason I put the shredder on the 3 point was after watching a 982 run a tiller off that rear pto, that machine takes a heck of a beating, at least worse than what the shredder would ever put on it. Second, the shredder ran off the front pto and at the least 2000 rpm, the drive shaft goes under the shredder to a belt drive to the knives so no worries about over rev or over torque. Third, I used this machine on the front of my 1650 for the last two years and it worked great for turning lawn garbage to useful mulch for the garden, you must not have had the right screen (or was the screen missing), I admit it's not the best one out there but it's not the worst, for 60.00 bucks it was worth it. Thanks for the leads on the pto, I went to the local J D dealer and they were not interested in looking to see if they could find one.

Maybe you can find something that will do the job for you at Hub City

http://www.hubcityinc.com/standard_p...l#farmproducts

Look in the farm products section and download the catalog. Hope it helps.

You need to find a better JD dealer. If the JD yoke is the same here is a pic and parts list of what they use on a 318 with a rear PTO for a rear finish mower.

You can always go find a good drive shaft shop and have them order and build it at least my old shop could and did but they were into truck sled pulling so they may have been a bit over the top for custom stuff. They were very reasonable too.
