One cool thing about going with the elec pump is that if you put a toggle switch in the circuit you can turn the pump off and let the engine run the carb bowl empty and then when you are ready to start it again just turn the pump on before starting to refill it.:beerchug:

That's a nifty idea if I can find a place to actually mount the pump. It's a little tight on this tractor but I think I may have it figured out. Find out tomorrow when I have some time to do it.

I finally got the pump mounted and wired in this weekend. I have to say this thing runs smoother, quieter and much cooler than ever. The throttle response is much better and it idles so smooth. It ran great before but it is a noticeable difference. Could the manual pump have been going bad for a while and just not putting enough pressure to the carb and causing it to run lean?
Either way, thanks for the help. Electric is the way to go. Much cheaper than a manual pump, and if it goes bad REALLY easy to change out.
