Well, pulled the fender lights off the 1811 and set the cab on for a "quick fit". Gotta decide what to do for the side panels and windshield. I knew it would be a problem and was going to have to modify, but now with it on it helps me see what I can do. If anyone has a cab on a '82,'10,'11 or equal style tractor that can send some pics that would be greatly appreciated!

Planning on removing the lift arm "box" I hate to cut up a perfectly good QL cab, but if I ever want to put it on another tractor, it will be a hydraulic lift machine anyway.

Plan is to remake the windshield and side panels like exactly like the '82 series cab. The front of the two cabs are shaped differently, but you get the idea. That way, I can save the old windshield and side panels for possible later use.

Any pics or suggestions welcome! :beerchug:

Cab looks good John but you on the bucket is the best, LMAO. I'd get some Lexan for the windshield. Nice and easy to cut with a router or jig saw.

You'll enjoy the cab this Winter, Jonathan!

Couple of guys have asked me whether I have my cab mounted yet. I do not. Been busy at the shop with some big projects, and have spent the last couple days on the road. Between the cab, and getting my 125 up and going, I have been switching back and forth between the two projects. Have to do some modifying on the cab to make it work on this tractor. Like I mentioned before, nothing that will not make it work on a QL still. Just improvements on mounting mostly. However, I do intend to remove the "box" for the manual lift. Even if I ever put it on a QL it wouldn't be a a manual one. Very soon I need to get this done, snow's a commin!! :beerchug:

If I send you fifty cents, could you pick up 60 of them for me?

As for the cab, since it's for a quietline, I'll take it off your hands, Johnathon, ya know, to save you the fabrication trouble :biggrin2:
