Not a 2182 but still a good deal. Would've been in the shed if I was lookin' and it had a smoker under the hood..............:biggrin2:
Couple hundred bucks worth of rear weights on her.

I'd say you did well on your investment. Made $400 bucks in 10 minutes. Sweet! :biggrin2: :beerchug:

I SERIOUSLY debated getting that. Guy was real nice and he'd take less, I know it. He doesn't know what he has. The only thing that stopped me is if I did it, I'd have to get rid of my 1450 and tiller to make ends meet and as much as I REALLY REALLY REEAALLLLYY want a Super, it doesn't make sense to get rid of a perfectly good 1450 and tiller for a tractor that would essentially only be a mower. Let's face it, it's hard enough finding a Super around here, don't even get me started about reasonably priced tillers, blades, and other attachments. Hurt to walk away but I did.

Thanks all!

I now have a somewhat better idea what one should be worth. I'm thinking $1,000 to $1,500 depending on condition and options is a great deal. I found an unlisted one for $1,800.00 if I don't mind the drive. I just have not convinced myself of the price yet. My dilemma holding me back is everyone likes to speak of the one that got away or the one they stole at a great price, but what is the tractor worth at a fair price? I know many (myself included) hate to bring up what they paid after hearing of others getting a great deal on one.

Ryan,
No comparison between the two. Get that super. One heck of a deal. It's only prolly 15 minutes from me. I would love to have it, but the house addition really put a damper on cub funds. :bash2: I'd seriously call him back and buy it! If it's not gone already......

Under edit: Put a three point on the back and rear pto. I've got a tiller for it you could borrow.

This one is a scam! I emailed and they said send payment and we will ship it to you for free as we are presently out of the country. They did not even know where I was at.

I picked up a 2284 last summer with front bumper, wheel weights and a 54" mower for $1,000.00. Runs great plastic fine. Was on Craig's list for 2 weeks before I moved on it. I figure the wheel weights were worth $150 and bumper $100 so the tractor at $750.00. Funny thing, people are paying $100 for those front bumpers on Ebay. I would say squeeze him a little tighter and jump on it. 22hp Kohler command Super, nice combo!

This thread is such a bad influence! :biggrin2:

I really shouldn't right now; just got hit with taxes (which of course I somehow owe in), vacation coming up, but the biggest thing is I don't know how quick I could turn my 1450 and those 3 sets of weights on that Super (because I've already got weights, I would definitely sell the 3 sets on it). If I had a buyer for everything I'd be there in heartbeat.

Edit: Wanna buy a 1450/tiller combo? :biggrin2::beer2:
