Wow Tim,
I just read your story! It sounds almost like a carbon copy of me! I grew up with cub cadets AND old Ford tractors! buying, fixing and selling them one at a time. Im 42 and its still not old. Still got the original that dad bought for me when I was 10 years old. I agree, I would rather have any older cub cadet than any new tractor... we still use a 1450 weekly that has been in service for us since 1976. Try that with your home depot or lowes piece of stamped sheet metal!
